I had studied both fine art and environmental design at the University of California at Berkeley which incorporates
both architecture and interior design. While living in the bay area I worked for a very interesting and renowned
Architect giving me the chance to work on many diverse projects. I was soon made head of the residential
department designing custom homes with in the California concept "Spanish - Mediterranean style".
However my love for the Mediterranean Revival began as a boy with my first of many visits to Villa Vizcaya on
Biscayne Bay, Miami. My appreciation continued while growing up in south Florida among the many homes and
building designed by one of my favorite architects Addison Mizner.
Upon my return to Fort Lauderdale I found my self working for a family member who was planing on building a
vacation home at the Ocean Reef Club. This resulting in me residing and working at Ocean Reef for the next Four
years. During my time at Ocean Reef I started working more with interior design than architecture. These home are
primarily turn-key vacation homes and my clientele was more open to be adventurous with color and decor.
I found myself incorporating my background of fine art and interior design along with architecture to create a more
stunning palate of colors and textures. I love to mix traditional elements with contemporary finishes and colors to
give unique environments that I can only call "Modern Baroque" to " Bohemian Chic" or
"Florida Mediterranean" to "Eclectic and Sleek"
